Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Depart Entebbe or Kampala in the morning and journey west toward Kibale Forest, known as the primate capital of Uganda. The drive is scenic, passing tea plantations, crater lakes, and rural communities. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and relax as you prepare for the next day’s chimpanzee encounter.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. Accompanied by expert rangers, follow calls and movements through the forest to observe chimpanzees feeding, grooming, and interacting naturally.

After the trek and lunch, drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the late afternoon. Enjoy views of crater lakes and savannah plains before checking in at your lodge.

Day 3: Full Day in Queen Elizabeth National Park (Game Drive & Boat Safari)

Enjoy a full day exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park. Begin with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime area for spotting lions, elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob, and other savannah wildlife.

In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, one of Africa’s richest wildlife waterways. Expect close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of bird species along the banks.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and travel south toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The journey offers changing scenery from open savannah to rolling hills and terraced farmland. Arrive in Bwindi in the afternoon and relax at your lodge, ready for the highlight of your safari.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi

After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation and celebration of this once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
