Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Depart Entebbe or Kampala and travel west toward Kibale Forest, passing tea plantations, crater lakes, and rolling countryside. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and relax in preparation for the following day’s chimpanzee tracking adventure.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest

After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the forest for chimpanzee tracking. Accompanied by experienced guides, follow forest trails in search of chimpanzee communities, observing their dynamic behavior in the wild. The afternoon is at leisure or optional guided walks in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Begin early with a ranger briefing before entering the forest for your gorilla trekking experience. The afternoon is reserved for rest or community visits.

Day 5: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
